Paris Native Marst makes his first appearance on Definition:Music with a four-tracker geared for the floor, Paris-Detroit Express EP including Darius Syrossian remix. Making his appearance in the French scene in 2012, Marst has built a solid reputation for driving house and deep groove; the Paris-Detroit Express EP is no exception.
First up he treats us to the dark rumble of X2X, capitalizing on a rich and dirty synth rhythm with a late night dancefloor vibe. Marst takes it even deeper with a sinister track called Awake, in which he plays with a heavy atmosphere packed with deviant synths and melodies.
The title track reflects its title straight away, a blend of Detroit House with a French touch, driving rhythms and solid production create an absolute banger. Darius then takes this and adds a bit of bounce, giving the track a house-y vibe while still holding the pressure.

Definition:Music is absolutely delighted to welcome Darius Syrossian once again with a heavy 3 track release titled 'Back to Truth'. The title track features a stunning low-end with beautifully simple synth work. Listen close, because this is what brilliant house music sounds like.
As the title suggests, 'Acid Fifteen' sets its feet firmly in acid-house territory. Drawing inspiration from the countless classics before it; 'Acid Fifteen' captures our attention and delivers a punch in the same breath, and always keeping the energy rising.
The third track comes thanks to Nick Curly, who has remixed 'Back To Truth' and adds a steady burn with a groovy low-end. The track sticks to a fantastic tech house vibe throughout, rising and falling; taking us along with it.

We are super thrilled to bring you our next release from one of the newest heavyweights in house music, Darius Syrossian. With his life firmly rooted in music for the last 20 years, it's no wonder why he's so good at what he does, Listen Up is a testament to that.
Both the Dub version and the 'Listen Up Vox Mix' of 'Give You Some' rest on the A-side. Opening with percussion, the impending rhythmic bassline quickly grabs our attention. Darius throws us some vocal sampling in the Vox Mix, creating an outstanding raw and iconic house vibe.
Flipping it over, we find 'Drop Your Gimmicks' on the B-side. This one is a bit more serious and bit less bouncy. With a deeper bass line that tells you what time it is, and the percussion to keep your feet shuffling, the track is, as Darius puts it, 'True House Music'.

Three remixes of three of the label's own records - 'Remixed' looks back over the first years of Definition:Music from the vantage point of 2014.
'Sunday Anthem' returns as a Darius Syrossian and Josh Butler remix, the first time the two worked together, and it became a hit in its own right.
Cecyl takes 'Days Without You' the other way: where the original was a house record, his remix is deep and hypnotic.
And 'Mi Nombre', the record the label started with, comes back as Reboot's remix, remastered.

After the roaring success of the 'Here We Come EP' by Darius Syrossian and Hector Couto released at the beginning of 2013, Definition:Music are proud to finally present the follow up three track 'Days Without You EP' by Darius Syrossian. The 'Days Without You EP' is a high-octane journey through expertly forged underground house.
Darius' original of 'Days Without You' kicks off the EP in fine style and has all the elements which he is synonymous with: gritty percussive groove and deadly deep bass that are complemented by a well executed soulful vocal. The end result is a track that is guaranteed to cause delirium on a peak-time dancefloor.
First up on remix duty is Definition:Music label heads Def:Play who switch up the bass line and add vocal snippets yet still manage to retain the raw essence of the original. Rounding off the EP on a deeper tip is Hamburg's Sidney Charles. From the off he makes his stamp on the original, adding melodic organ stabs, soaring synths and a rolling bassline.
Overall then on the 'Days Without You EP' Darius lives up to his billing as one of the hottest producers currently operating in the house scene, and with help from Def:Play and Sidney Charles, he has delivered a classy and distinctive EP.

Limited vinyl edition! 'Put You Down' convinces with its strong bassline and the harmonic pad melody. Def:Play, founder of Definition:Music, tried to make something special - also the cover of the vinyl is associated with much work. Lopazz said: the original is one of the biggest tracks.

Darius Syrossian and Hector Couto's first record together, 'Metal' on OFF Recordings, went straight up the charts and stayed in the clubs. 'Here We Come' is what followed - and it arrived with a whole summer behind it.
The track ran through the 2012 season in Ibiza, at DC10 and at Sankeys, and it was the Viva Warriors anthem long before it had a release date. By the time it landed on Definition:Music, Steve Lawler, DJ Sneak, Richy Ahmed, DJ W!ld, Heidi, Lauhaus and 2000 and One were all carrying it. It comes with a Dub Mix alongside the original.
