Following their club hit Clockwork (released on Adriatique's Siamese imprint), played by the likes of Dixon, Trikk and Adriatique, Definition and Night Talk went back to the studio together and cooked up another storm.
Into the void hits from second one. Strong beats lead the way into this dreamlike soundscape, where metallic drum elements and effortless reverb tails take us on a journey. We get lost in a slow build and an unassuming bass-line drives us home, until the track collapses just to hit twice as hard coming back in. Dreamy vocals float over dirty synth lines, melodies that feel familiar guide the way to continuous build ups, where we can't help but move our bodies to the gritty, thumping bass-line pushing us forward relentlessly.
Tempest is all about the beat. Simple, yet endearing, it reels us in and guides us on an endless rise where fragile synth swells and powerful percussion elements tease our ears. High-pitched glimmers dance across the soundscape with ease. A track that rises again and again, yet never quite implodes in-between. Instead it builds, in the most natural way, skilfully and exquisitely, whilst sirens add a well-rounded urgency, that's hard to resist.

Natascha Polké's "Burning Out" EP is the follow-up release to "Stars Wrapped In Skin". It ties in seamlessly, bringing back the haunting qualities, fragile textures and driving beats the artist is known for. Whilst glistening in melancholy, the songs on this second release are just as upbeat and danceable. A release demanding to be played at hazy summer get-togethers as it gets late and we get lost in the rhythm of the night.
It kicks off with "Burning Out", a spheric track where organic sounds meet disarmingly intimate vocals. A soundscape that keeps building and falling like gushing waves. Nostalgic call and response movements carry us into the unknown of our inner universe with an irresistible groove, much like our own heartbeat, leading the way.
Next up: "Wildfire". A track with an atmosphere that lures you in and plays with your mind, teasing with enticing percussion and warped synths before making way for stunningly performed vocals. It fuses classic techno feel with contemporary aesthetics. Melody lines floating over a relentless groove guiding us straight into a dreamy soundscape. You can't help but dive in and it feels so good.
Launching straight into the breakbeat percussion and uncompromising synth line, Definition's remix of "Burning Out" enters the room like it's here to stay. The producer blends rough rawness with fragility, ties in thunder-like build-ups with intricate vocals and metallic synth stabs, harsh like blades. A remix that lives to be blasted in clubs and will easily demolish dance floors all over the world. This track is unrelenting, and you don't want it to stop.
The second remix stems from Night Talk. He's created a slow burner, a tune that keeps on building, where he skilfully controls the releases of energy, and places it exactly where and when it's needed. This remix is minimalistic and almost hypnotic in its darkside vibes.

Fellow Swiss national and underground up & comer Night Talk delivers a titillating 3 track EP 'Hypnotized' to Definition:Music.
First he sets the mood with the title track (feat. SUMA), a wonderfully tense atmosphere is contrasted with the smooth, lush vocals of SUMA to great effect - creating an intriguing dynamic balance between the two. Next, LOR steps in to deliver his version; a deeper and heavier blend with a dash of techno, house and electronica, leaving his fingerprint behind.
The final track, another original, takes the darkest path. Arps, rhythmic synth and lovely vocal pads create an ethereal experience and a safe bet for a hungry floor.

Night Talk whips up a deep and dusty mood with his latest EP on Definition:Music. Enter the Hours EP; A 3 track adventure through some of the darkest corners of the night.
'Drowning' starts us off chugging along with the tensions slowly rising as the synths play their game among the shadows. Soon enough, Night Talk shows us what 'Drowning' is all about, captivating in its simplicity and elegant in its execution.
'Blue Hour' turns the dials a bit further, adding a new level of hustle with a bit more drama in the mix. Still deep, still dark, and still very ripe for the dancefloor.
Coming up on the 'Golden Hour' now, Night Talk lets things relax, but only just - the track still has enough swing in it to keep a floor packed, but with a bit more warmth and less tension than its more epic siblings.
